Built by high-end Cornish building company Gynn, the property is constructed from locally sourced stone and timber and thoughtfully reinterprets the footprint of the original dairy farm, creating a sophisticated yet deeply characterful family home just outside Padstow.
Working closely with the interior designer, every decorative element was carefully considered to complement the architecture, natural materials and quietly luxurious interior scheme. A refined palette of Farrow & Ball paints was used throughout, bringing depth, warmth and cohesion to the interiors, while specialist decorative finishes were introduced to add individuality and a sense of craftsmanship.
A standout feature is the chimney breast, finished in St Leo marble paint using a bespoke decorative technique. The layered finish creates a subtle sense of movement and depth, adding a distinctive focal point while retaining the understated elegance of the wider scheme.
Throughout the generous open-plan living spaces and individually designed bedrooms, the decorating work provides a considered backdrop to rich, earthy tones, patterned wallpapers and carefully selected materials. Each finish was executed with precision, allowing the textures, colours and architectural details to sit effortlessly alongside one another.
